Education of women is essential for the development of the country the women’s universities play a vital role by conquering social barriers that are a cause of illiterate women. Furthermore, universities for women significantly increase the literacy rate and professional competency in our society. Allow them to play a significant part in the development of Pakistan.

When girls are educated, their countries becomes stronger and prosperous”-Michelle Obama

Because of a low number of women universities, there is a high rate of women illiteracy rate in our country. Some of the reasons are; many parents do not allow their daughters to study in a co-education university end up sitting at home doing nothing or doing something from private colleges. Women’s universities can be a reason for an increase in the literacy rate in Pakistan by providing such facilities provided in a co-education institute and can break stereotypes.

By getting further education, women will try to come into professional fields, and then there will be a tough competition between men and women. By seeking further education, women can be independent. A Pew Research Center study showed university-educated women are more passionate about the positive impact higher education had on their lives than men.

Educating a woman means educating her whole generation, she can be a role model for other females. It is quoted;

“If you educate a man, you educate an individual. But if you educate a woman, you educate a nation” — African Proverb

In a separate university for women only is an opportunity for many women to show their skills without any fear and hesitation as many girls are not much confident to show up in front of males so that they choose to be quiet, they will not participate in any extra-curricular activity but if they are in a separate campus, they will try to participate and build up their confidence. In a separate university, a different type of environment should be provided to enhance the skills of students. They will be able to cope up with day-to-day problems.

Women’s universities help them raise their voice, and they learn to lean in and find different ways to develop their confidence to face many challenges in workplaces or at other stages of life. There should be places where women can found reinforcement and stimulation they require to make a risk-taking grip in professional and personal life. There are more suggestions as well like, there are more worries and stress, racism, and oppression in co-educational institutes.

We want the education by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, the intellect is expanded, and by which one can stand on one’s own feet” Swami Vivekananda

On separate campuses, the dismay of being judged by their male class fellows will not arise, and they are more strengthen and have high expectations to achieve their goals. They will also have more participation chances in leadership places and extra-curricular activities and will be capable of making a professional commitment that guides them to women-kind workplaces.

In the current epoch, many nations are under women, and they had proved themselves as the best leaders like the Prime Minister of New Zealand (Jacinda Kate Ardern).

Women can participate as actively as men do in the development of Pakistan, only if they will get a quality education.
